Michael Jackson craziness...

You know of all of the craziness surrounding Michael Jackson's death, I feel most sad and overwhelmed for his children. Granted, I'm sure they've had a crazy life anyways being who their father was and how famous he was. But what will happen to them now?

I've read that MJ's mom wants them but haven't we all seen the movie "The Jackson 5" or heard the horrible rumors about his dad...is that where the kids would be best suited? Or is it with their crazy mom who actually married Michael, bore his children, than forfitted her parental rights over to Michael (only to ask for them back a few years later)? Do you see what I am getting at? Is there a good choice for these kids? What did Michael really want? Apparently a will has surfaced from 7, yes that's right, 7 years ago...I wasn't even married then and definitely didn't have the 2 rugrats I have now. Again, do you see what I am saying? Do you see how much life has changed over the last 7 years and not just for me?

I guess all this hype has really just brought it home for me how important it is to have all of my ducks in a row...especially for my kids. And how important it is to make sure "my ducks" so to speak are updated at least every 3 years...to account for life changing events. This type of stuff just blows my mind. Do you know 69% of Americans with children don't have wills or even guardianship papers...who will take care of their kids? I'm not really in a boat to worry about "assets", well not in the sense that MJ is for sure, but my children are my world and I want...no I need to make sure they are protected no matter what...from all of the crazy's out there...including the ones in my family.
